Return to Dak To Laguna Beach Screening a great success!

Last Thursday night, almost 200 people turned out at Laguna Beach, California's 7 Degrees venue in Laguna Canyon. I lived there at Victoria Beach and St. Ann's Drive during law school and many old friends turned out. The Q&A ran for nearly an hour and I talked with many for another hour. The film seems to touch a nerve across different generations - all trying to understand the difficulty of our dilemma in Vietnam. My goal in making the film was to just tell the story of what happened to me and the 299th Engineers in Dak To and leave the politics to the mind of the viewer. From the individual responses, I think the film has touched many and it was and is tremendously gratifying to see their growing understanding of that difficult time in America.

Here's some pictures of the screening and beautiful Laguna Beach.
